Posted by admin on September 2, 2010 in Uncategorized with No Comments

More and more people nowadays get tired quite easily. In these modern times, there are so many factors that cause tiredness. What you do, how and when you do things can affect your physical and mental state. Any wrong, improper or unhealthy move that you make can leave you feeling very tired.

Although it is a common condition, tiredness can have a great impact on the quality of your life. It could lead to extreme fatigue, and hence further problems. If you’re looking for ways to stop feeling very tired, what you should do first is to identify what’s causing you this condition. Knowing the most common causes of tiredness can help you prevent extreme fatigue and help you improve the quality of your life.

When talking about tiredness causes, the top 6 culprits are the following:

1. Medical Conditions – Flu, heart ailments, cancer, sleep disorders, anxiety, hypothyroidism and anemia are just some of the medical issues that cause tiredness. Certain prescription medications such as pain killers and sedatives can also leave you feeling very tired.

2. Poor Diet – Eating the wrong kinds of food, the wrong amount at the wrong time is not good at all. Eating large portions; too much caffeine and sugar; and the improper balance of carbohydrates, meat or vegetable protein, fruits and vegetables can make you feel tired, weak and sleepy.

3. Dehydration – Water to our body is like oil to a machine. It cleanses our system, so not drinking enough water everyday can be quite detrimental to your body and health.

4. Not Enough Sleep – If you don’t follow a regular sleeping pattern or routine, your body will be confused as to when you should go to sleep or when to wake up. Worry, sadness and fear won’t help you get to sleep easily. If your room is not conducive to sleeping – for example, it’s too hot or dark or messy – you will be deprived of a good night’s rest as well.

5. Lack Of Exercise – Exercise is invigorating as it is beneficial to our health and well-being. If you do not break a sweat or exercise regularly, you will not be alert and energized. Inactivity or idleness can leave you feeling very tired and weak.

6. Stress – This is a very common cause of tiredness. According to studies, psychological factors, including stress, are present in most fatigue cases. We are bound to be exposed to a certain level of stress at times, but there’s a limit to the degree of stress that we can take. A high stress level can lead to extreme fatigue. Failure to manage and get rid of it could lead to physical and mental problems.

What causes tiredness really varies from person to person. Now that you know the possible culprits responsible for tiredness, identify which one is causing your condition. This is actually the first important step that you can take so you can overcome this condition and finally stop feeling very tired.
